About BuildmetERP

Sysnet has built a fully customized ERP System as per the requirement of Buildmet Fibres.

BuildmetERP is a Full-fledged, Enterprise-wide, Intranet-based ERP solution. This large ERP system was planned to be developed and implemented in Phases. The first phase covering Product Design, Enquiry Specification, Quotation, Sales Order, Technical Specification & Fabric Requirement, Despatch and Daily Production was successfully implemented and in use.

The major function of BuildmetERP (Phase I) is to calculate and prepare an Enquiry Specification based on the enquiries received from prospective customers. Various calculations are applied to calculate the weight and cost of the fabric required. The Processing cost is also calculated. The company manufactured over 40 different types of FIBC bags with nearly 75 types of components. The calculation for each type of component was different. BuildmetERP generates a detailed working-sheet showing the material required and cost for each component of the FIBC bag. This working-sheet was the base for preparing the Quotation. A Technical Specification Sheet and Fabric Requirement Sheet was further generated based on the confirmed orders. The Daily Production and Despatches against a Sales Order were recorded.

Phase 2 of BuildmetERP consist of Production Planning and Scheduling, Inventory Control, Purchases, Invoicing and Machinery Maintenance.

BuildmetERP is built using Sysnet's AppMaker - SpApp and does not need any third party database like MS SQL Server or Oracle. It also does not need any special IT staff to maintain and run it.
